Bounty.com, is the UK’s favourite parenting website. Within the past two years bounty.com has become the largest online meeting point for mums in the UK with over 19 million pages being served every month, 600,000 opted-in members and a further 15,000 new members joining each month. Bounty.com reaches 1 in 3 new and expectant mums each month with over 400,000 unique users on its site each month.
Recent research conducted by Bounty amongst over 4,000 new and expectant mums showed that internet use is high, with 88% of all mums surveyed using the internet everyday and nearly two thirds (61%) going online at least twice a day.
As well as offering parents 40 years of childcare experience as a brand and the latest best practice information on a range of topics from looking great in pregnancy to encouraging children to eat a healthy diet, bounty.com also provides parenting support through its forums.
Bounty.com - where mums meet online
Bounty first launched its website in 2000, and has been updated frequently to reflect consumer needs and channel opportunities. Most recently, a number of Web 2.0 applications have been launched to enhance the consumer experience in the online community discussion forums and enable mums to upload personal content. The new ‘My Bounty’ brings together a collection of applications to enable mums to write blogs, upload images and video, chat and message each other. The site will integrate with the HP Snapfish photo management service, where members can order a variety of photo related products. These updates will positively impact the amount of time our consumers spend on the website and make their sessions more enjoyable with us.

During 2007 and into 2008, Bounty.com has seen spectacular growth in terms of site traffic achieving over 800,000 user sessions every month. Over this time, the site has evolved from being the major meeting point for new mums to becoming a major portal for the young family life stage. Bounty.com is all about helping make family life easier and offers new and expectant parents a wealth of interactive features; useful pregnancy information from the Bounty guides and third parties; and services from carefully chosen partners in shopping, travel and money areas.
Bounty communicates with its 600,000 members three times a month via email newsletters with interesting news, information and offers. Advertisers have a range of options on the site and within its newsletters. The site carries standard IAB approved advertising formats and offers enhanced features such as competitions, electronic mail campaigns, online advertorials, fixed period tenancies and sponsored bespoke content features.
