Market Research

Bounty Planning & Insight can offer the full range of research services, including continuous panel research, ad-hoc online quantitative studies, focus groups and depth interviews – detailed below.  Working closely with our clients we agree and develop an approach which will provide the best Actionable Insight – making the greatest difference for the marketing and business.

Continuous Tracking – Mums Opinions Panel

The Mums Opinions Panel is the authoritative source of continuous tracking research of expectant and new families whose children are up to two years old.  Drawn from the Bounty universe of Young Families, mums are invited to join the panel and take part in bi-monthly surveys.

The key benefit of Mums Opinions Panel is that valuable information can be gained continuously about all family types from early pregnancy until their youngest child is two years old, allowing the tracking over time in changes in behaviour and attitudes.  This enables the development of long term plans for communications and marketing to Young Families that reflects the changing dynamics of families as they grow older.

Continuous Tracking – Growing Families Panel

Launching in August 2007 the Growing Families Panel is being launched to complement Mums Opinions Panel – enabling mums to continue giving valuable insights to Bounty (and its clients) until their youngest child is five years old.

As with Mums Opinion Panel, the Growing Families Panel is built from the Bounty universe of Young Families and members of the panel take part in bi-monthly surveys.

Ad-hoc Quantitative Research

On many occasions the need for a quantitative sample of respondents extends beyond the reach of the continuous tracking studies, typically driven by the need for a more extensive study or a bespoke sample.

In these instances we are able to develop and offer ad-hoc studies with a full service offering – from project scoping, through survey design and development to fieldwork, analysis and reporting.

Key to the success of these studies is our access to Bounty’s database of 9 million Young Families.  Using this base we are able to select niche samples (as required) with enough volume for real insight to be delivered.

Whether you need to understand the performance of media activity, track brand metrics versus competitors or create a bespoke segmentation of your marketplace (to name only three options) Bounty’s ad-hoc quantitative research services has the ability to deliver.

Qualitative Research – Focus Groups and Depth Interviews

Our quantitative research services provide valuable insights into how Young Families behave, but often there is no substitute for talking to people.  The use of focus groups and depth interviews (as appropriate) help us get under the skin of the emotional and rational drivers of customer behaviour.

The deep understanding derived from these processes can then be harnessed to develop creative strategies and propositions that touch the needs and wants of the families with whom our clients are developing relationships – prompting consumer action.

Desk Research

With access to Mintel and TGI (the most extensive study of the UK population) we are able to match and back-up our own research with studies of the general population.

Understanding the key differences between Young Families and the UK population drawn from these sources allows us to develop media and message strategies that focus on the differences and which are most likely to drive Young Family behaviour.
